Wouldn’t these stamps look super cool on tweenagers Halloween party invite?

Recipe:  Thriller stamp set, Black stamp pad & cardstock, Black grosgrain ribbon, Pacificia stamp pad& cardstock, Sky stamp pad & cardstock and Silver brads.

To achieve this look I first rubber brayered my ultra white base layer with Sky ink.  Then stamped my main image in the center.  Using a large cirle punch I created a mask for the skull and then left it in place over the skull to brayer the Pacifica ink all around it.  Finally I stamped the scrolls in black over the Pacificia ink.  I used a few new colors that are available in the Autumn/Winter 2010 Idea Book for this stample.  The base color is a new pretty blue called Sky and the darker blue is Pacifica.  This just may be my new favorite blue!  So rich and regal feeling.

Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment or question.  A few things to keep in mind about the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month:    it is only available until Sept. 30! What a great look using the brayer. You’ve inspired me to use mine more.

Makes the skull look like it’s floating in front of the moon! How fun!
